HUAWEI MateBook series
HUAWEI’s mid-range notebooks are versatile and combine the advantages of the MateBook X series with the performance of the MateBook D series at a good price-performance range. You get a 16 inch multi-touch display in 3:2 format . The maximum brightness and resolution of the MateBook X Pro are slightly higher, but the values are higher than those of the MateBook D series with a comparable screen size. There are also some differences in the series itself in terms of features and performance. A look at the prices shows that the S model 16s has a little more to offer and is therefore more expensive. MateBook 16s vs MateBook 16
When it comes to the 16-inch devices in the MateBook series, you are spoiled for choice between the MateBook 16 and the MateBook 16s . Both models come with the same resolution (2,5620 x 1,680 pixels), but only the 16s has a touch display. The notebooks each work with 16 GB of RAM , but are powered by different processors and have different amounts of memory. With the built-in 1 TB SSD, the MateBook 16s has almost twice as much storage on board as the “standard model”, but is also almost twice as expensive. The higher price can also be explained by the 12th generation Intel CPUs that the 16s uses. There is an i7 and an i9 model, both of which carry the Intel EVO certification, which identifies them as high quality laptops. For the cheaper MateBook 16, HUAWEI still uses an AMD Ryzen 5 of the 5000 series. The WLAN standard is also newer in the S model with Wi-Fi 6E and the Full HD camera in the display frame is significantly different from the retractable HD camera in the keyboard.
