With the D‑Link DGS‑1005P 5‑Port Gigabit PoE+ Switch you connect PoE (Power over Ethernet) devices such as WLAN access points (APs), network cameras and IP phones to the network and supply them with power. Designed for home users and small businesses, the DGS‑1005P is compact and silent. This makes it perfect for almost all rooms and offices.

Thanks to the plug-and-play installation, the DGS-1005P requires no further configuration.

With Auto MDI/MDI-X on all ports, no crossover cables are required when connecting additional switches. Automatic adjustment on each port independently regulates the transmission speed to ensure compatibility with the connected device. With zero-speed filtering and store-and-forward transmission, the DGS-1005P ensures maximum network performance while minimizing the forwarding of erroneous network packets.

Power over Ethernet+

The DGS-1005P offers four Gigabit Ethernet ports and supports the PoE standards IEEE 802.3af PoE and IEEE 802.3at PoE. With a total PoE capacity of 60 W, up to 30 W is available per port.

This means you can connect compatible devices to the DGS-1005P without additional power. This saves you cables and power supplies and allows you to install devices in locations without direct access to power outlets.

D‑Link Green technology

The DGS-1005P offers environmentally friendly functions and features such as IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet (EEE), link status detection and cable length detection.

EEE adapts the power consumption of the switch to the network load, thus reducing energy consumption during inactivity. By detecting the connection status, unused ports are switched off. Cable length detection adapts the output power of the ports to the cable length, thereby reducing the switch’s power requirements.
