Build and expand your network with the Ubiquiti Networks® UniFi® Switch, part of the UniFi product line. The UniFi Switch is a fully manageable PoE+ Gigabit switch that offers reliable performance and intelligent switching for growing networks.

Switching performance

The UniFi Switch offers extreme forwarding capacity, so that processes can run simultaneously on all ports with maximum data transfer rates without packet losses.

PoE+ flexibility

The UniFi Switch models are available with 24 or 48 PoE Gigabit Ethernet ports, with either autosensing IEEE 802.3af/at or configurable 24V passive PoE to simplify your infrastructure.

The UniFi Switch automatically detects 802.3af/at devices so they automatically receive PoE. For 24V passive PoE devices, you activate 24V passive PoE manually using the UniFi controller software.

Fiber optic connectivity

The UniFi Switch offers fiber connection options to easily expand your network. Each UniFi Switch model has two SFP ports for uplinks up to 1 Gbps. Each 48-port model also has two SFP+ ports for high-performance uplinks up to 10 Gbps, so you can connect directly to a high-performance storage server or set up a long-range uplink to another switch.

UniFi controllers

The UniFi Controller was developed for convenient management; the software allows administrators to configure the UniFi switches and other UniFi devices and monitor them using a graphical user interface. You can download it for free from www.ubnt.com – there are no additional software, license or support fees.

For advanced users, CLI management is available via Telnet, SSH and the console port.

Multi-site management

A single UniFi controller can manage many UniFi locations in the cloud with a centralized interface. Each page is logically separated and has its own network monitoring, configuration, maps, statistics and admin accounts. 

Switching configuration

With the UniFi Controller you can access any UniFi Switch and configure a variety of functions:

• PoE setting per port
• Operation mode (switching, mirroring or both together) per port
• Network/VLAN configuration
• Jumbo Frame and Flow Control Services
